With the support of local artists, community members will be encouraged to create a portrait of themselves to be displayed as part of a large and curated installation that will feature the work, faces, and creations of the community.
Pieces will be scanned as part of the project with originals going back to their creator and with the City of Waterloo retaining rights to reproduce the work as a print for display purposes. All proceeds from this exhibit go to support HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre and those impacted by cancer in the Region. We started out small last year, but had such a positive response that we've decided to Go Big!this time around.
