Hello Everyone!
I hope you all have been having a fantastic summer, and are ready to gear up for another KWSA year! The first meeting of the year is right around the corner! ( Tuesday Sept 1)This is the time where we pay our dues, and fill out the registration form. You can get your form ready beforehand by printing one from the email attachment, or our new website! We need some volunteers for our upcoming meeting: 2-3 for set up, 1 for snacks, and 1 to be the greeter. Please send an email to Dimitra with the position you wish to volunteer for. We have some fun things planned for this year, and many opportunities to show your art! In an effort to encourage all of our members to keep creating, this year we are going to have a raffle you can enter once every meeting you attend, to win prizes like certificates or art supplies! If anyone has news they wish to share please send us the information beforehand - this will make it easier for us to get accurate information in the minutes, and help the flow of our meetings. Do you have any theme ideas for this year’s Homer Watson House and Gallery show? Submit your them to Dimitra. We will also be announcing our Peoples Choice winner from our Button Factory Arts KWSA Members show in the spring. Two prizes will be awarded for first and second choices. Please bring in a piece of artwork you made this coming Tuesday. Perhaps something you created something over the summer. We’re going to get to know each other better and share our art next meeting for the second portion of the night. We look forward to seeing you all!
