Nancy Peng and Salomé Pérez will be teaching a free workshop on expressionistic portrait drawing at the John M. Harper branch on Saturday June 18th 2-4pm.
This is in collaboration with the City of Waterloo for the “We are Waterloo Portrait Project”, and with the support of the Laurelwood Neighbourhood Association. According to their website, the goal for this project is “to create connections between arts, culture, community, and identity while promoting the diversity in Waterloo.” The completed artworks will be part of an exhibit in conjunction with Canada’s 150th anniversary.
