Painting is the key of my desire to seize the moment and create. My compositions are based on the observation of actual scenes, my memories of them or from pictures I took. While my day job requires rigour, in contrast in my art I like to enjoy some liberty. I let the laws of nature only brush against my canvases. Quite often you might find simplicity and blossoming colour in my paintings. The process is as important to me as the final result. I enjoy the calmness of letting my mind focus on the canvas and then wander into that space. I value the sharing and exchanges in the arts. I am a member of Kitchener-Waterloo Society of Artists, Art$Pay and of the Francophone art organization Bravo-Sud. I occasionally participate in exhibitions. Additionally, I am happy to donate a painting for a good cause.
