Nancy Taves

​I am a self-taught Canadian Realist painter living in small town Ontario. After a successful career with Bell Canada, retirement brought new opportunities and time to pursue my passion to paint.  Working mostly in oils and acrylics, I find inspiration in everyday life and beauty all around me.  You will always find a painting on my easel in my home studio, but I can also be seen set up in the great outdoors, capturing the colours, lights, and shadows of rural life.  An avid Bruce Trail hiker, many of my paintings depict the beauty and serenity of scenes not otherwise viewed.
