I am an artist born in India, now based in Canada (Kitchener-Waterloo). I have always been drawn to art from a very young age, but have discovered my passion for painting since 2012.
I enjoy the sublime transparency of watercolours, the vibrant boldness of acrylics and bringing life into my charcoal sketches. I like to take inspiration from the colours of nature and the myriad shades of human emotions. Currently I am exploring & experimenting with various media and offering art education to children, youth and adults. In the last few years, I have been exhibiting my art at various group shows in the region, at The Homer Watson House & Gallery, The Museum, the Button Factory Arts, Food Bank of Waterloo Region, Peel Art Museum & Archives, The Centre In the Square and also participated & won in a number of live painting & plein air art competitions in Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge, Brantford and Toronto. |
