As an Artist, Educator and Community Leader I create authentic learning opportunities and connect art to existing community and community initiatives. Recent projects have created opportunities to work with other artists (Pan Am Mural), National campaigns (#ClarasBigRide) and local youth (Imagine A Show). To all projects I bring a background in Project Management & Design and an understanding of communications and learning systems.
As an Artist I use a medley of traditional & digital media to focus on the texture of the space and the story hidden in the shadows. I know that images are fantastic at documenting our world, but my interest lies in how images can shift focus, twist reality and present exciting new perspectives with the juxtaposition of objects and environments.
