I am a representational painter working in traditional oils and watercolour. An artist who is passionate about painting en plein air (the great outdoors) whenever possible. Painting from life allows me to capture the mood and lighting of the day and I am driven to capture the beauty and emotion of a scene in my work.
There is always a painting on my easel and a brush in hand. I am ‘drawn’ to local landscapes chiefly – rural and urban. I enjoy my membership in COAA and have been a participating member of Rural Routes Studio Tour, New Hamburg Art Tour, New Hamburg Live and Wellesley Art Round the Pond cultural events. My art has been juried into the prestigious Paint Ontario Art Show in 2020 as well as 2021 at the Lambton Heritage Museum. I hope each viewer enjoys my work as much as I do creating it!
