Pira Urosevic
Originally from Toronto, Pira Urosevic moved to Waterloo in 1985 to study Anthropology at Wilfrid Laurier University.
Having no formal training in the arts she considers herself a self-taught, mixed media illustrator; moving between projects on a regular basis. The mediums in which she works include, but are not limited to: acrylics, oil pastels, graphite, inks, print making, watercolour, collaging and photography.
A generalist & storyteller by nature, the subject matter of her creative output reflects a lifelong curiousity about the world around her. Always observing, inspiration is found in the patterns, shapes & colours of the man-made & natural world; particularly when they collide.
