This artist has had a keen appreciation of art throughout his life but it took on a more serious nature about ten years ago when he was encouraged to return to painting, this time in acrylics. His contacts with two art teachers in Burlington has been rewarding. Prior to retirement, he studied Horticulture and Landscape design at the University of Guelph followed by a period as a master gardener volunteering at the RBG in Burlington. His love of life and travel show up in his art. At 91, he now spends an hour or two most days in front of his easel. He has recently moved to downtown Kitchener to be nearer to his family.
