As a self-taught artist, when working on my watercolour paintings, I utilize many different colours as my main and constant theme to communicate my mood and my emotions to my audience.
Inspiration for my art comes from images from my everyday life, while taking my dog for a walk, watching a movie, reading a book, my love for my family, past experiences, present, thoughts of future, and deeply rooted passion of painting.
I change a lot of my brush movement while painting, dabbing the brushes, and experimenting with the unpredictability of using watercolours as my medium, because I never know exactly how my work will turn out. Unpredictability of watercolours and the speed that I have to use while painting motivate me and make this my reason and choice to be a watercolour painter.
I love the idea of my paintings end up being totally experimental and never as planned. I set up with an idea, and that idea gets transformed into colourful dance which each time I paint adds another level of its own colour choreography.
