2024/25 Activities, Events & Workshops

Activities, Workshops & Events are open to all KWSA Members and they're also designed by KWSA Members!

If you have an idea for an activity, field trip of event... send us your ideas and we'll see what we can do!

New opportunities will pop up throughout the season! Remember Each activity has its own cost and information. Please make sure that you read the details and RSVP as noted. Guests are often welcome however please double check to be sure.

Note: As part of KWSA's culture and the world in which we live... We take and share photos to show our community exploring and creating together. If you would prefer not to be in a photo please let the photograher(s) know at the event.

KWSA Workshops (New this year!)

Paint Nights @ The Pickle Barrel
We tried it out this summer and we had a great response so... we'll be back!

Cost is $10 each (Cash on arrival) Includes 3 small 6" x 6" canvas boards. (Yours to keep!)

Supplies: We'll be supplying water containers, small towels, water and canvases... but we're asking you to bring your own paint and brushes. Please consider minimal colour palette and supplies since we'll have limited space available at the table (this is why we've picked wee little canvases!). Acrylic Paint is the recommended medium.

Food: Please purchase something (drink / food) while we're there.

The Task: You'll have approximately 2.5 hours to paint 3 small pieces based on a set of random words.
