Biography / Statement

Marinko was born and raised in Croatia. As a child Marinko always enjoyed drawing and watercolour painting. Eventually he grew to love painting with oils.

 

Marinko has also lived in Holland for four years and came to Fort McMurray, Alberta in 1975. He eventually moved to Kitchener, Ontario in 1989, and has been here since. Through his travels he has painted over 100 landscape scenes. Marinko has exhibited in over 30 shows, both group and solo in the K/W Region Galleries. His paintings hang in Recreation Centers, Museums and Churches around Canada and Europe.

 

Marinko loves painting real life. He captures a moment in time and brings it to life again.
