Diane Eastham

Multimedia Artist / Photographer
Biography / Statement

Diane brings many years of experience and expertise as artist, photographer, writer and educator to her work. Her work is often multi-layered, incorporating a love of texture and intense colour. Her multi-media work features acrylic, collage and stitch on watercolour paper and canvas. She also does print-making including collagraphs. A lifetime studying literature and writing informs Diane's work, so it's not surprising that words and letter shapes make their way into her art.

Professionally, Diane holds memberships in the KW Society of Artists, the Society for Layerists in Multimedia, the Royal City Calligraphy Guild, GRIPS, the Highland Glen Camera Club, the Canadian Authors Association, and the Creativity Coaching Association. Her work has been published in Somerset Studio (Gallery Edition), and The Rubber Stamper, as well as in various anthologies and newspapers. She has participated in juried, group and one-woman shows and her work is found in public and private collections throughout Canada.
