Painting
Artist's Statement
My inspiration to paint comes from a love of the outdoors and
animals as well as the works of all my fellow artists. I love to paint
landscapes of Muskoka and the surrounding peaceful scenery of the
Kitchener-Waterloo area.
Biography After retiring to Heidelberg from a nursing career in Toronto,
I was able to persue my love of painting. I have taken numerous art courses and workshops for the past 20 years from many leading artists. In recent years, I have studied oil painting with Eldon Leis and Connie Melnick and continue to paint in oils. I have exhibited in group shows at KW Tourism Store, KOR
Gallery, Kuntz House Gallery, Luther Village Gallery and Waterloo
Community Art Centre, where I volunteered on the Gallery Committee for
4 years.
My art memberships include KWSA, WCAC, Elora Centre for the Arts and the Colour Wheel Group.
