Angela Grasse has taken an explorative approach towards art making for over 20 years. She has exhibited at Homer Watson Gallery, St. Jacobs Quilt Festival, Stratford Perth Museum, Wilfred Laurier University, Kitchener Public Library and The Grand National Quilt show.
As a textile artist Angela has developed a practice of experimenting with her own ideas that seem boundless. Curiosity and research drive her daily. Angela is enamoured with the texture that can be created and is drawn to the limitless modes of expression available in this medium.
As a photographer Angela loves to get up close and personal with her subjects. Exploring minute detail, paying attention to the magnificent, Angela aims to capture the glorious intricacies and beauty she finds all around her. Angela is a multi disciplinary artist. For over 20 years I have I rarely start out with the end in mind but believe that my research and intuition will yield knowledge at the very least. I am willing to try something new and pushing boundaries gives me much pleasure.
